Things To Do In Myrtle Beach

Myrtle Beach SkyWheel
Looking for the best view of the area? Look no further than the Myrtle Beach SkyWheel.
At 187 feet tall, it is the tallest ferris wheel on the East Coast. The SkyWheel features 42 air-conditioned gondolas, that float you around the ferris wheel, taking in the view up and down the coast. For a more electric view, ride the SkyWheel at night, and see the bright lights along the Grand Strand, not to mention the ferris wheel itself lit up in a rainbow of colors!

Mini Golf
Myrtle Beach has over 30 miniature golf courses in the area, earning it’s title as “Mini-Golf Capital of the World”. The US Mini Golf Tour is also played in the area each year. There are courses that go in the air three levels or so, and nearly any theme you can imagine from dragons, to pirates, to jungles. So get competitive and get your putt-putt on.

Water Sports
Kayaking, stand up paddle boarding, boating, jet skis – the area offers it all! There are many places to do these activities in the area, even one right in Murrells Inlet next to BrewBoatAC! Go out and get active, then come kick back for some beverages and a cool down peddle around the marsh!

Brookgreen Gardens
If you want to get away from the seashore for a bit, try strolling through the sprawling gardens and gorgeous Spanish moss draped oak trees at Brookgreen Gardens. The sculpture garden and wildlife preserve is located on 9,100 acres just south of Myrtle Beach in Murrells Inlet. With several indoor exhibits as well as tons of exhibits nestled in the gardens, Brookgreen Gardens has over 1,400 American sculptures on the grounds. Brookgreen Gardens is sure to deliver a relaxing outdoors artistic experience.

Ripley’s Aquarium
It’s not always sunny at the beach, so if the weather isn’t cooperating go indoors to Ripley’s Aquarium. Get your fill of sea life with sea turtles, eels, tropical fish, large sharks and more! The aquarium has a 330-foot conveyor walkway which will bring your whole family through a large tunnel among all of the sea creatures and a large coral reef! Educational and beautiful, Ripley’s Aquarium is an experience everyone will enjoy.
