Summer Events In Myrtle Beach

One of the great things about living in the Grand Strand area – there is always something to do! Whether you are a beach bum, foodie, art enthusiast or music aficionado, we’ve got you covered this summer season.

June 29 & 30 – Art in the Park
Chapin Park, Myrtle Beach 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Enjoy nature while admiring creations from more than 40 artists. Art in the Park is a two day event that is presented by the Waccamaw Arts & Crafts Guild. This is the 47th year that Myrtle Beach has held this event, which features jewelry makers, woodwork, glass art, photos, paintings and many other creative endeavors.

Concerts on the Green – Summer Concert Series
The Market Common, Myrtle Beach – 7 – 10 p.m.
This summer concert series is held each third Thursday of the summer. Patrons are encouraged to come early to stroll through shops and grab a bite to eat at one of the many restaurant choices that Market Commons has to offer. End the evening by grabbing your blanket or lawn chairs, and enjoy some music in the open air at Valor Park, where beer, wine, soft drinks and snack are available for purchase. Upcoming concerts are:

July 23 – Beer & Tacos 5k
Marina Park at Grande Dunes – 6:30 p.m.
Get some exercise in while enjoying the views by running int The Beer & Taco 5k, a run along the Intracoastal Waterway. Following the race, there will be a sunset fiesta with live music at the Grande Dunes Marina Park. Each participant will receive two complimentary beers.

August 3 – Myrtle Beach Women’s Day
The Hall at St. John’s – Myrtle Beach 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Come out to this free event and get pampered for a day! This event showcases local businesses focused on empowering, educating and nurturing women. There will be plenty of vendors as well, so come ready to shop! Free activities at Women’s Day include a photo booth, chair massages, health screenings, face & body art, a self-defense class and more.

August 10 – Myrtle Beach International Culture Fest
Chapin Park, Myrtle Beach 11 a.m. – 9 p.m.
The International Culture Fest is an annual event to celebrate global diversity by sharing cultural exhibits, international artists, and delicious authentic cuisine. This will be an event for the eyes and taste buds, while discovery and learning about other cultures. Come with an open mind and an empty stomach.
