What is the BrewBoat?
The BrewBoat is a collection of unique party boats that allows passengers to bring what they like to drink on board and to have a great time! We have two boats in our fleet, one that holds up to 15 passengers and the other which holds up to 20. Don’t worry about steering; we have a USCG Master Captain for that!
Is the Party Boat what it says… A hardcore party every trip?
The Party Boat is what you want it to be, especially if rented out privately. We do everything from chill morning coffee cruises to night time glow parties. We can create the perfect vibe for you and your crew in Murrells Inlet.
What is the difference between the Pedal Pub Cruise and the Party Boat Cruise?
The main difference is size and capacity. The Pedal boat is 25ft and can carry 15 passengers whereas the Party Boat is 27ft and can carry 20 passengers comfortably. Of course the pedal boat has pedal stations where the Party Boat has traditional cushioned bar seats without the pedals.
Where do we meet for our cruise?
We are located on the Marshwalk directly behind Creek Ratz restaurant in Murrells Inlet SC. Please arrive 10-15 minutes before your scheduled trip.
Where do we go?
How far and fast we go is up to YOU! Our typical route takes you along the Murrells Inlet Marshwalk and surrounding creeks. However, a private full boat charter can be customized to go where you would like tide depending. Call us to discuss options.
What if we are a few minutes late for our cruise?
We encourage our guests to arrive 15 minutes early and be prepared for traffic. In the event you are running late the sooner you notify us the better. With proper notification we can work with you to a certain extent, but want to inform our other guests of the delay.
Will we see dolphins?
There is always a chance to see these amazing animals in live action in the creeks of Murrells Inlet. There is no guarantee but our creeks are fed from the Atlantic ocean and dolphins sometimes come inside to find a meal.
Can we book for more than one hour?
Yes, all our cruises are customizable and can be extended upon request and calendar availability.
Do we really have to pedal?
While pedaling propels the boat, the captain also has a motor and will assist if pedaling is not your thing.
What do we bring?
The BrewBoat is a BYOB (beer or wine) cruise. We supply the coolers, ICE, and sound system that you can connect with bluetooth from your phone or enjoy one of our many BrewBoat playlists on Spotify.
How long is the trip?
Each cruise lasts 1 hour, but there are other options to cruise for longer. Click here to contact us about customizing your trip.
Is there a bathroom onboard?”
There is no restroom onboard, please use the restrooms located on the back of Creek Ratz restaurant closest to the BrewBoat.
How hard is the pedaling?
Not difficult at all! The captain has the ability to raise or lower the paddle wheel making it easier or harder depending on your group’s preference.
How many people can the BrewBoat hold?
We offer two boats in our fleet. One holds up to 15 passengers and the other up to 20.
Are there age restrictions?
We currently have no age restrictions. The BrewBoat is welcome to all ages, however, you must be 21 with proof of ID to bring alcohol aboard.
Can I drink on the BrewBoat?
Yes! You must bring your own beer or wine, as we do not sell alcohol aboard. Please have an ID to verify your age.
Do we need to bring a cooler or ice?
No you do not! The center of our bar is lined with self serve coolers that will always be filled with ice.
What is the cancellation policy?
Cancellations made more than 3 days (72 hours) before your scheduled trip will receive a full refund. If the captain is forced to cancel due to extreme weather we will issue guests a rain check.
Is the Inlet BrewBoat a party boat?
Absolutely. If you’re searching for party boats in Murrells Inlet, this is it. The BrewBoat is built for groups who want to celebrate on the water — birthdays, bachelorette parties, family reunions, or just a Saturday done right.
What makes the Inlet BrewBoat different from other boat tours in Myrtle Beach?

Can I rent the whole boat for a private party?
Yes! Private charters are our specialty. Book the entire BrewBoat for your bachelorette party, birthday, corporate outing, or family celebration and have the whole deck to yourselves.
Do I need a reservation, or can I walk up?
Reservations are strongly recommended, especially in summer. If seats are available, we welcome walk-ups — but the best way to guarantee your spot on the inlet’s favorite party boat is to book ahead.
What happens if it rains?
Safety comes first. If weather forces us to cancel, you’ll have the option to reschedule your cruise or receive a full refund. Light sprinkles usually don’t stop the party — the captain makes the final call.
Is there a cooler and ice on board?
Yes — we provide coolers and ice so your drinks stay cold from dock to dock. Just bring your beverages and we’ll handle the rest.
Can we bring food or snacks?
Absolutely. Snacks, charcuterie boards, birthday cupcakes — bring whatever makes your celebration complete. Many groups grab takeout from a MarshWalk restaurant before boarding.
What should I bring on a BrewBoat cruise?
Sunscreen, sunglasses, a hat, your drinks, and your camera. In cooler months, bring a light jacket for the breeze off the water. We’ll take care of the rest.
Do you play music on board?
Of course — it’s a party boat! We have a sound system on board, and most groups connect their own playlist via Bluetooth. Your cruise, your soundtrack.
Do you have to be 21 to ride the Inlet BrewBoat?
All guests consuming alcohol must be 21+ with valid ID. Guests under 21 are welcome as well.
Is the BrewBoat good for bachelorette parties?
It’s one of the most popular bachelorette party ideas in Murrells Inlet and the Myrtle Beach area. Private charter, cold drinks, water views, and photo ops everywhere — the bride-to-be will love it.
Can we celebrate a birthday on the BrewBoat?
Yes — birthdays are our thing. Decorate your space, bring a cake, and let us know it’s a special occasion when you book. We’ll help make it memorable.
Is the Inlet BrewBoat family-friendly?
Yes, we are kid-friendly and love the opportunity to take our younger generations. It is very important to us to show our love for Murrells Inlet to the little ones, exposing them to a safe and comfortable on the water experience.
Are kids the same price as adults?
Depending on the day and time you choose plays into this question as we are governed by the Coast Guard by how many individuals we have on board. Age does not matter. We can not discount kids for Sunset Cruises on high demand days. Week day afternoon cruises we can discount with kids. Regardless, give us a call and we will help any way we can.
Can I bring my dog?
Dogs are welcome on any Private trip. Public trips are a little different when mixing groups as we do not want to make anyone uncomfortable. Especially if someone had an allergy to dogs. As long as the crew is ok with the dog on board we are good to go.
Can we bring glass bottles?
We always encourage cans over bottles for obvious reasons but also understand some things only come in glass. Both are acceptable as long as those consuming are responsible and respectful.
How far is the BrewBoat from Myrtle Beach?
We are located just 10 miles from the south end of Myrtle Beach. It is definitely worth the drive, not to mention all the amazing restaurants and bars that surround our business.
What can we do before or after our cruise with Inlet BrewBoat?
We operate off the Marshwalk in Murrells Inlet. The Marshwalk is a stretch of dock that plays home to some amazing bars and restaurants like Wicked Tuna, Claw House, Deadog Saloon, Bubbas Love Shack, Drunkin Jacks and Wahoos Fish House to name a few. The food, drinks and atmosphere is awesome down here!
Can we drop our drinks off before our trip?
Absolutely! Shoot us a text/call and we will make sure to have some ice in our dock cooler that you can store your beverages/food until your trip.
What will we see on a Murrells Inlet boat cruise?
The inlet is alive — expect salt marsh scenery, local wildlife like herons, egrets, and the occasional dolphin, waterfront views of the MarshWalk, and some of the best sunsets on the South Carolina coast.
Do you offer sunset cruises?
Yes, and they’re our most requested trip. A Murrells Inlet sunset from the water is something you have to see for yourself — book early, because sunset cruises sell out first.
Is the Inlet BrewBoat one of the fun things to do in Murrells Inlet?
We might be biased, but our guests say yes. If you’re looking for things to do in Murrells Inlet beyond the restaurants, the BrewBoat is the perfect way to experience the inlet itself — on the water, drink in hand.
