The Grand Strand of Myrtle Beach is gorgeous this time of year. The weather is cooler so it is much more comfortable to spend time outside at local events. So here are a few fall events going on around town in October!
Live Oak Art & Music Fest
Where – Horry County Courthouse Lawn, Conway
When – October 5th from 10 to 5 p.m.
Come celebrate the autumn season in Conway to explore art & crafts, tons of locally grown produce, and many local artists performing through out the day. The perfect fall family fun day! Admission is free.
Myrtle Beach Oktoberfest
Where – Grand Park at Market Common
When – October 11th & 12th
We are beer enthusiasts, so we have to recommend this event! There will be plenty of beer varieties – both seasonal and non, over 60 vendors to explore, live entertainment through out the event. Bring the kids to explore a pumpkin patch, face-painting, inflatable and more – fun for the whole family!
15th Annual Little River ShrimpFest
Where – Historic Little River Waterfront
When – October 12th from 9 to 6 p.m. & October 13th from 9 to 5 p.m.
Enjoy fresh local shrimp and other seafood delights at the 15th Annual Little River ShrimpFest. This event is along the water in picturesque Historic Little River showcasing the best local restaurants have to offer in shrimp dishes and more! The event also includes live music, children’s activities, arts & crafts vendors and other fall festival favorites! Festival admission is $5 per person and kids under 12 are free.
40th Annual Loris Bog-Off Festival
Where – Downtown Loris
When – October 19th at 9:00 a.m.
You better come hungry to this beloved event now celebrating it’s 40th year! More than 200 vendors, live entertainment and plenty of prize winning blog of all types of varieties. There are fireworks in the evening and admission is free.
