Upcoming Murrells Inlet Events

Murrells Inlet is known as the seafood capital of South Carolina and is an extremely popular nightlife spot for both locals and tourists alike. We also have some killer events throughout the year including the Chilympics, Halloween on the Marshwalk, Christmas Parade and so much more. Below are a few upcoming Murrells Inlet events that you should definitely check out:

9th Annual Murrells Inlet Soup-Off

If you enjoy a hot cup of soup on a cold day, head on down to the 9th Annual Murrells Inlet Soup-Off at the legendary bar, Suck Bang Blow on January 27th! Tastings run from 11:30am to 5:30pm and all proceeds will benefit the Murrells Inlet Shriners. After the contest, Sunny Ledfurd will be providing some live music. Bring the whole family to enjoy an awesome afternoon.

5th Annual Taste of the Marshwalk

Sample food from the top restaurants in Murrells Inlet! On January 27th and 28th, all 8 restaurants will present guests with delicious bites created by their award-winning chefs. In addition to great food, the 2nd Annual Bloody Mary Showdown will take place! There will be local and regional artists and other businesses participating in the event as well as face painting, camel & pony rides and bounce houses for the kids. Check out the video below that highlights last year’s event.

MarshiGras! On The MarshWalk

If you are looking to have some fun on Fat Tuesday this year, come on down to the MarshWalk! On Tuesday, February 13th, the MarshWalk will do it’s best impression of Bourbon Street and host a costume parade with over $1,000 in cash and prizes awarded to the top 4 costumes. The parade and registration for the costume content runs from 5pm to 6:35pm. The local restaurants along the MarshWalk will provide party favors such as masks and beads for spectators who forgot to dress up!

We hope to see y’all down in Murrells Inlet for some of these events. You won’t regret it!
